Our Story
SWIP was born out of a simple but powerful observation: Sierra Leone has an extraordinary music culture — rich, vibrant, and deeply rooted in African tradition — yet its artists had no dedicated platform to share it with the world.
Founded in Freetown, SWIP set out to change that. We built a platform specifically designed for the nuances of Salone music, from Afrobeats and Dancehall to Gospel and Highlife, while also embracing the DJs and promoters who form the backbone of the live music scene.
Today, SWIP is more than a streaming platform — it's a community, a stage, and a launchpad for Sierra Leone's next generation of music stars. Every upload, every play, and every fan connection brings us closer to that vision.
